With a background in financial planning, insurance, and investment strategies, Patrick has dedicated his career to helping athletes, their families, and those who support them navigate the complex financial landscape that comes with high-level sports.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"415\" data-end=\"892\">His journey into financial literacy began from personal experience. As a former University of Kansas football player and CFL athlete for the Calgary Stampeders, Patrick saw firsthand how many athletes\u2014especially young ones\u2014struggled with managing their finances, handling contracts, and preparing for life beyond sports. Recognizing this gap, he committed himself to providing essential financial education to athletes, parents, and professionals who influence their careers.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"894\" data-end=\"915\"><strong data-start=\"898\" data-end=\"913\">Our Mission<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"916\" data-end=\"1401\">At <strong data-start=\"919\" data-end=\"946\">Parents of Pro Athletes<\/strong>, we understand that when an athlete goes pro, the entire family is impacted. Parents often serve as the first line of financial and emotional support, yet many are unprepared for the challenges that come with their child\u2019s career in professional sports.
